Greetings and Merry Meet,
I have something for Ryan, have you read the literal translation of the Bible? Check out what it says. There are in fact only some types of magic that it says are off limits. Lets look at what magic is, from what I have studied, magic is basically when a higher form of power interacts with the physical world. That is why the church can try to say that all "magic" comes from satan. However, didn't Jesus and his disciples use God's power to do many great things? Wouldn't anyone just watching from the side think that what they were doing was magic? So what's the difference?
Getting back to the original reason for this message post, yes I whole-heartedly agree! We should have more groups! I plan on checking out the one already in TX when I get back from Iraq. I'd like to talk to someone about what all goes into planning these things so that I can possibly host my own group down near Ft. Hood.

Blessed be, merry part,
SGT K

I have to say to this one. Have you ever played the telephone game? If two people can't pass a message then how can anyone pass an accurate message from god. The bible is chalked full of prejudice inconsistency and hipocrisy. while I do believe some of its human writers got a clear message a lot of them were also clouded by static.......if you want divine answers go directly to the source....that is what christian witches are doing.

Hi Ryan,
FWI: 70% of the texts originally included in what is today, the Bible, have been edited out! This was done by church leaders over the centuries to make the texts conform to what they wanted to teach. It was also a means to control the people!
In addition, there is magick in the Bible. It is done by God's prophets & aproved by God. What is condemmed is those who seek to cause harm to others, which true Wiccans do not!

The Bible is very direct about what the Holy Spirit is. There are many different references in Scripture and little ambiguity amongst Biblical scholars on what the Holy Spirit is. What is the definition that Christian Wicca gives for the Holy Spirit? All I know is that Scripture does not endorse witchcraft.
